FISHIN’ REPORT WEEK OF 07/10/24

The Whites have continued to be very active, but the really good news is that the Walleye are ON…

Walleye fishing continues to be good bumping crank baits off the bottom over gravel points leading to deep Channel in 6 to 12 feet, some also being caught off points and humps in 20 feet of water. Good lures are deep diving crank baits, kastmasters and slab spoons.

Whitebass action continues to be good using swimbaits, kastmasters and medium diving crankbaits as well as live shiners and live shad around McRae ,rattle snake island ,rock canyon and long point. Watch for seagulls working over feeding schools of fish.

Large mouth and small mouth bass is good using plastic crawlers, worms and wacky worms around big boulders and points leading to deep water.

Crappies are slow.

Catfish is good at night using night crawlers, cut shad and cut carp in deep water.
